The round of 16 matches have now been played congratulations go to Stoke by Nayland, Wanstead, the Warren, Mardyke Valley, Crondon Park, Brentwood, Braintree and the away specialists Stockbrook Manor who all came through close matches to win through to the Quarter Finals.
Good luck to the remaining 8 teams still in the hunt for the race to Crondon Park for the final.
Remember the venues for each quarter final will be drawn and videos of each draw will be posted onto the Facebook page and links to them on the gateway page (see link below) these should be available by 7pm Sunday 27 July. The results of each draw will be added to the spreadsheet on Monday 28th July
Remember the play by date for the match is 24th August 2025 and the 7 card eligibility date was the 27th July. Also a reminder that Home Captains need to offer 2 dates not on the same weekend, particularly crucial at the moment with Captain’s Days and Club Championships happening at a great many clubs.
And the round of 16 results and Quarter final match ups are…….

The order of merit competitions are taking shape with 1100 players representing their respective clubs across singles and pairs matches. 2 players in the singles still have 100% 5 from 5 records but there are 10 other players still with a chance of catching them.
In the pairs 8 players have won 4 from 5 but only 3 of them are still left in the competition with a further 7 players 0.5 or 1 point further back. So both competitions are very much there for the taking.
As always the most up to date scores and fixtures can be found using the link below…
Remaining round eligibility dates for the 7 cards rule are as below:
QF’s - 12 months prior to 27th July 2025
SF’s - 12 months prior to 23rd August 2025
Final - 12 months prior to 5th September 2025
Finally - as you probably know, we are 3 volunteers that have enjoyed playing in the Jubilee Cup over the years and are doing our level best to maintain and develop the competition but at times it is a difficult task to be there for all the scheduled events. In that regard we would welcome more volunteers to get involved with some aspects of the organisation and running of the events, the later stages of the competition are particularly difficult for just 3 people to cover and some other helpers at the semi-finals and final days would be very very welcome. So if anyone, who has enjoyed playing in the competition and would like to get involved a bit in helping run aspects of it then please get in touch at jubileecup@yahoo.co.uk. If you’d like to discuss it anything then get in touch. We’d be delighted to talk you through the tasks we do.
Thank you in advance for any support you can give.
Yours the Jubilee Cup Committee..
