Hello All team Captains and competitors

This is the 4th newsletter of the 2026 season.

Round 3 is now complete with a few teams are looking odds on to progress but most teams still in with a chance of at least securing a runners up spot in their division.

Shout out to divisions B and D where all teams still have realistic chances of progressing.

Also news of another Jubilee Cup hole in one. This one to Noel Cundick of Brentwood GC playing the 5th hole in their 3rd round match at Canons Brook. Well played. Hope the drinks went down well.

From a results point of view, the results team would very much appreciate it if Captains would

1 - Not tamper with the functionality of the results sheets - just makes transferring the results so much slower

2 - Include ALL players, (including singles players) handicaps of the day of the match - making our job easier to check eligibility.

3 - please complete each sheet whenever playing either home and away, this helps verify the result and helps us get the names and handicaps correct for each and every player.

4 - send a quick email once the result sheet is complete letting us know the fixture has been played.

Remember you have only 1 sheet to deal with each round, we have 24 and we want to get results onto the spreadsheet and update tables within 24 hours of a result. We can only do that if you help us.

Finally we have had a number of requests for extensions to play by dates for the 3rd and 4th rounds. Please note that extensions are extremely unlikely to be granted at this late stage as this puts intolerable pressure on the later rounds where time is much tighter, we appreciate fixture congestions and other club commitments but extensions will only be granted in exceptional circumstances and not because a few players in the team are unavailable.
